The Pledge of Allegiance
I, Steve Witherspoon, pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Military Oath
I, Steve Witherspoon, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

To my friends, family, and Facebook friends; hate me if you must, unfollow me if you must, unfriend me if you must, but continuing to remain silent about what’s going on in Washington DC is NOT within me. I’ll respect your opinion but that doesn’t mean for a second that I won’t challenge your opinion when I disagree, my silence doesn’t mean I agree with you, I won’t hate you, I won’t unfollow you, and I won’t unfriend you because we disagree. I can be a hard man and at some point in time I will offend or piss off you just like I do everyone I know, I’m honest and it’s okay to disagree. You being offended by something I say or write will not change my opinion so the faster you get over being offended by something I say or write the more peace of mind you can have. This is my choice, this is what mature adults do. You are free to make your own choices.

Now on to the real purpose of this post.

Lest we all forget; the Democrats in Washington DC have been trying to remove the President of the United States since he took office. There has been a witch hunt underway since before Trump took office to find a reason, any reason, to remove him. Hillary Clinton once said that not respecting the results of the presidential election is “a direct threat to our democracy.” Well folks, the words and actions of Washington DC Democrats and much of the political left have proven beyond any doubt that they have never accepted and do not respect the fact that Donald Trump is the duly elected President of the United States.

A soft coup, sometimes referred to as a silent coup, is a coup d’état without the use of violence, but based on a conspiracy or plot that has as its objective the taking of state power by partially or wholly illegal means, in order to facilitate an exchange of political leadership – and in some cases also of the current institutional order.

The soft coup (yes I think that’s exactly what it is) we’re all witnessing right now in Washington DC from the Democrats is unprecedented. Their hate for President Trump has completely consumed them. They’re fully employing an unethical ends justifies the means tactic to try to remove the President of the United States from office, and/or unethically influence the Presidential election of 2020, because they have never respected the results of the Presidential election in November 2016 and therefore, in the words of Hillary Clinton, they’re “a direct threat to our democracy”.

Interesting factoid: Democratic lawmakers have introduced articles of impeachment against five of the last six Republican presidents, the only Republican President they didn’t introduced articles of impeachment against was President Ford.

To be completely fair; Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton are the only two Presidents that I know of in recent history that actually committed impeachable “high crimes and misdemeanors” acts while in office that actually justified their impeachment.

Lest we forget; here’s what’s been going on.

The Complete Presidential Impeachment or Removal Plans A-S

Plan A:
Reverse the election by hijacking the Electoral College.

Plan B:
Pre-emptive impeachment.

Plan C:
The Emoluments Clause.

Plan D:
“Collusion with Russia”

Plan E:
“Trump is mentally ill so this should trigger the 25th Amendment.”

Plan F:
The Maxine Waters Plan, which  is to just impeach the President because Democrats want to, because they can.

Plan G:
“The President obstructed justice by firing incompetent subordinates, and that’s impeachable.”

Plan H:
“Tweeting stupid stuff is impeachable”

Plan I: 
“Let’s relentlessly harass him and insult him and obstruct his efforts to do his job so he snaps and does something really impeachable.”

Plan J:
Force Trump’s resignation based on alleged sexual misconduct that predated his candidacy.

Plan K:
Election law violations in pay-offs to old sex-partners

Plan L:
The perjury trap: get Trump to testify under oath, then prove something he said was a lie.

Plan M:
Guilt by association. Prove close associates or family members violated laws.

Plan N:
Claim that Trump’s comments at his press conference with Putin were “treasonous.”

Plan O:
The Mueller Report proves the Trump is unfit for office even if it did not conclude that he committed any impeachable offenses.

Plan P:
Summarized here as “We have to impeach him because he’s daring us to and if we don’t, we let him win, but we can’t, but then he’ll win!”.”

Plan Q:
Impeach Trump to justify getting his taxes, and then use the presumed evidence in his taxes to impeach him.

Plan R:
Rep. Adam Schiff announced on July 24 that President Trump should be impeached because he is “disloyal” to the country. This desperate response to the fizzle of the Mueller Report was ignored and forgotten the second it came out of Schiff’s mouth, but it confirmed what the list above already proved: the Democrats don’t want to impeach the President for something he did; they want to find something he did to justify impeaching him.

Plan S:
Trump should be impeached because his call to Ukrainian President Zelensky was really an effort to shake down the Ukraine and force it to find dirt on Joe Biden, thus “interfering” in the 2020 election even though Biden hasn’t been nominated (and won’t be), even though a President has every justification to seek evidence of a prior administration’s wrongdoing in foreign relations, and even though there isn’t a whiff of a threat of quid pro quo in the only transcript of the call.

My personal opinion; I don’t like Donald Trump, the man, and I didn’t vote for him. I also didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton. In the past, I have voted for both Democratic and Republican candidates. I think Trump and Clinton were the worst candidates for President that both parties have presented to the public at the same time in my lifetime. The election of 2016 was a lose lose for the American people. In the 2020 election I choose to vote for Policy over Personality.

I support the office of the President of the United States of America and the United States Constitution no matter which political party is in the majority or who is in the Oval Office! Can you say the same?

Donald Trump, the person, can be a real asshole, he’s an unethical troll shooting from the hip with his loose cannon mouth, he’s not presidential in a typical historical sense (which some people like) but Donald Trump IS the duly elected President of the United States of America and that needs to be respected! The duly elected presence of an asshole in the White House is not what’s destroying the United States, the hateful bigoted attitudes driving the extreme left and this twisted sham of an impeachment soft coup by the Washington DC Democrats is what’s destroying the United States.

Much of today’s political left, especially the extreme progressive wing, have gone completely off the rails of reality. The root cause of the chaotic things we’re seeing in the United States were NOT created by Donald Trump.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s hate.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s bigotry.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s irrational aversion to truth and facts.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s anti-American and anti-Constitution ideological leanings.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s leaning towards totalitarianism.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s bastardization of words and symbols.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s anti-history stance.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s anti-social behaviors.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s anti-respect, anti-logic, anti-critical thinking, and anti-civility.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s Pravda like propaganda media machine.

President Trump didn’t create the left’s “deep state”.

President Trump didn’t create these things, but his presence in the White House has inspired the left, especially the extreme progressives, to peel back their false facade and reveal their true selves to the world. We are in the midst of a major ideological social shift to the extreme political left. Progressives are shoving the political pendulum as hard as they can to the left and there’s no turning back for them, it’s all or nothing and it’s anti-American. It seems to me that modern progressives consider anything to the political right of their extreme ideological views to be evil; isn’t that how radicals like ISIS think? These attitudes are a cancer eating away at the core structure of United States of America and at the root of it all is bigotry, hate, and the ends justify the means unethical rationalization. Moderate Liberals should take heed of Martin Niemöller’s words…

First they came for the Socialists,
and I did not speak out because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists,
and I did not speak out because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.

If moderate Liberals don’t assimilate into the hive of progressive extremists they too will likely be too Conservative for progressive extreme ideology. That pendulum has been shoved about as far left as it can go without breaking off and falling over the political edge into complete totalitarianism.

Be aware and be observant of bigotry, hate, and rationalizations.

Bigot
A person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

Hate
Feel intense or passionate dislike for someone or something. 

Rationalization
The action of attempting to explain or justify behavior or an attitude with logical reasons, even if these are not appropriate.

Here’s what’s at the core of the extreme modern political left that’s controlling the Democratic Party.…

If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.

If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it,
people will eventually come to believe it.

If you repeat a lie long enough, it becomes truth.

If you repeat a lie many times, people are bound to start believing it.

This the same kind of things that was put into practice by the master propagandist Paul Joseph Goebbels who was a German Nazi politician and Reich Minister of Propaganda of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945. 

If you’re in agreement with the Washington DC Democrat’s attempts to remove the President in the Presidential Impeachment or Removal Plans A-S listed above then I have a direct personal challenge for you; I challenge you to try to justify [with facts]* what’s been going on with the Democrats in Washington DC in relation to the removal of President Trump from office but you cannot under any circumstances use any of the unethical rationalizations in the link I provided above, it’s a long list but you should read and understand it before you start justifying. There is no reason to present your justifications here unless you choose to; I think it would be a good ethical exercise for you to experience and it might shine a light on things you didn’t know about yourself. Of course you could just continue to stick your fingers in your ears and scream na, na, na like a little child, ignore critical thinking that makes you uncomfortable and align yourself with the anti-Trump hive mind. The choice is yours and yours alone.

If you’re offended by what I wrote, get over it.
