I just got this off of Donald Trump’s Twitter page…

Here is timeline information that as far as I know was never mentioned by the media or in the House or Representatives hearings….
Trump ended his speech on January 6th at 1:10 p.m.
Trump tweets @ 1:38 PM, [see time correction in update below] “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”
Trump tweets @ 2:13 PM, [see time correction in update below] “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”
Interesting.
What I’ve heard from the media is how Trump egged the protesters to riot and lagged a long, Long, LONG time before tweeting to the rioting protesters to be peaceful. Was I lied to by the media and the House committee?
[UPDATE 12/20/2020 @ 11:am CST…
As you can see in the commentary below; Oscar Nunez helped me understand that the roll over timestamp that I got the time of day was dependent on the time zone of the viewer NOT the time zone of the original poster. My time stamps were an hour off; what I say as being tweeted at 1:38 PM was actually tweeted at 2:38 PM and the same hour difference is applied to the second tweet I quoted. This was new information for me and I have put notices in my original blog post referring to this update.
So to answer the question I posed in the original blog post:
Was I lied to by the media and the House committee?
The answer is no, the information I obtained showing a different timeline was inaccurate for reasons I was unaware of and that is why I perceived a discrepancy.]
“Was I lied to by the media and the House committee?”
Rhetorical questions don’t require question marks…

Your information is incorrect – the tweets you cite didn’t happen until 2:38PM and 3:13PM. What’s more interesting than your incorrect takeaways:
– 1:50PM situation at Capitol is declared a riot
– 2:12PM first rioter enters the Capitol
– 2:24PM Trump tweets: “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”
1:50 to 2:38 is a lifetime to have radio silence from the president when you consider what was happening, and yet his silence would have been better than what we got – what could only be considered an incendiary tweet that could easily be seen as justification of the riot (and almost certainly was).
As to your comment about the media – if one Googles “Jan 6 Trump tweet timeline” you’ll see that dozens of media sites have all of this information and more. No one is conspiring to hide this information. And if they were anti-Trump why would they? The timeline is completely damning.

That is a verifiably FALSE claim as is clearly shown from the screen shots below which verify the actual time stamp of the tweets. All you have to do is roll your cursor over the date on a tweet and a little dark box pops up showing you the exact time that the tweet was posted.
I don’t know where you’re getting your information on those tweets but I posted actual verifiable facts.
So between you and I we have a January 6th timeline of:
1:10 PM – Trump end his speech (I verified this fact)
1:38 PM – Trump tweets, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!” (I verified this fact and provided proof)
1:50 PM – Riot declared at the Capitol (I verified this fact)
2:12 PM – First rioter enters the Capitol (I verified this fact)
2:13 PM – Trump tweets “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!” (I verified this fact and provided proof)
2:24PM – Trump tweets, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!” (I verified this fact)
The actual facts conflict with the narrative that we’ve been told for almost two years and that is exactly the point of my blog post.
I simply presented the facts and asked a question regarding those facts, absolutely none of what I wrote condones anything President Trump did on January 6, 2021.

Oscar Nunez,
There is one more possibility for the conflicted times that I’m investigating right now. I’ll post when I finish my investigation.

When you look at the time on a tweet it is showing you the localized time – so you must live in the central time zone. 1:38PM central time = 2:38PM eastern time, which is the time zone in which said events were taking place. The Pence tweet came 34 minutes after the riot was declared, and 14 minutes BEFORE any calls to stay peaceful. These facts are consistent with the narrative that was reported and most of us have known for almost two years now. Several sites have this timeline fully spelled out, here’s one: https://www.businessinsider.com/timeline-what-trump-was-doing-as-his-mob-attacked-the-capitol-on-jan-6-2022-7

Our comments overlapped.
That’s what I’m investigating right now, I’ll let you know what I find.

My trusted Eastern Time Zone source hasn’t replied to my inquiry yet. I suspect you’re correct about the localized time, but I’m one of those people that needs to verify as best I can. I’ll post the results as soon as I get them.

Oscar Nunez,
Verification complete, you are correct that the time stamp shows the time based on the time zone the viewer is in NOT the time zone there it was posted. That’s different than what I’m used to seeing and I’m not sure if I like it or not, but that’s irrelevant to the fact.
I stand corrected and thanks for pointing out that fact. I’ll update the post soon to reflect this new (to me) information.
