Another School Shooting: Dammit People, Protect The Children! [Edited]

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Benjamin Franklin

Yes there has been another school mass shooting by a deranged lawless anarchist, or terrorist, minded nut job and it’s time for the anti-gun nuts to crawl out from under their rocks and scream their platitudes at everyone. What’s sad is how the anti-gunners miss the intellectual boat, go straight to emotion, and blame everyone and everything but the shooter.

What does it say about our society when there are people being indoctrinated into believing that human life is valueless and expendable?

[ADDED VIDEO: I got that video from a comment posted below by Cornelius_Gotchberg, I thought it was a great representation showing what one type of cultural indoctrination looks like.]

Of course people are going off the deep end of reality and flushing their intelligence down the shitter whenever there is a school shooting. Yesterday evening Gregory Humphrey, aka Dekerivers, over at Caffeinated Politics titled his blog post, Gunmakers, NRA, Unconscionable Clowns Within GOP Need To Be Held Accountable For 19 Dead School Children

Here’s serious question #1 for people that think like Humphrey; exactly how do you expect to hold these people accountable for the actions of a deranged 18 year old lawless anarchist?

Humphrey also wrote, “The bullshit response of ‘guns don’t kill, people kill’ gags the nation like rotten eggs left in a Texas car in mid-July. Only the most severely uneducated rube or overly blind partisan would ever make such a stupid claim.”

What’s interesting about Humphrey’s pure emotional bigotry is, the actual fact remains that the gun did not walk itself into the school and shoot the students. The firearm is the tool, the lawless anarchist murderer is the person using the tool, and only the most severely uneducated rube or overly blind partisan would ever claim otherwise when the actual self-evident facts are perfectly clear and in-your-face.

Again; what does it say about our society when there are people being indoctrinated into believing that human life is valueless and expendable?

Here’s serious question #2 for people that think like Humphrey; you can scream at the top of your lungs “we have to do something” and “think of the children” for a week of Tuesdays, but that doesn’t accomplish a damn thing; we have a Constitution and the 2nd Amendment is literally part of that Constitution, what exactly do you people propose should be done to stop these terrorizing mass shootings without violating the rights specifically enumerated in the Constitution?

When you constantly react emotionally to these kinds of absolutely terrible, illegal and immoral events and go completely off the deep end of reality flushing logic and critical thinking you loose focus on the root cause and where your efforts need to be; it’s not the firearm (the tool) that’s the problem, its the morally bankrupt ends justifies the means indoctrinated individual that seems to believe that human life is valueless and therefore expendable wielding the gun that’s the real problem.

This shooting is a terrible, terrible tragedy!

Another deranged lawless anarchist, or terrorist, minded nut job taking advantage of another soft target!

How did the signs get missed that this 18 year old had mental issues?

How did this armed 18 year old get into the school?

When are schools going to learn?

This school shooting should never have happened!

Dammit People, Protect The Children in school from these kinds of morally bankrupt shootings by upgrading the buildings so they’re not easily accessible soft targets, but dammit don’t try to destroy enumerated rights granted in the Constitution of the United States of America because you don’t have the intellectual fortitude to focus on the actual root cause and instead jump on the unethical rationalizing knee-jerk emotional reactionary “we have to do something” and “think of the children” bandwagon! Use your brains not your emotions!

    1. fattymoon, you haven’t answered the question…

“What exactly do you people propose should be done to stop these terrorizing mass shootings without violating the rights specifically enumerated in the Constitution?”

I wouldn’t have any problem with setting the legal age to own a firearm to 21 years old as long as the legal age for everything else is also set to 21 years old across the board and across the entire country and that INCLUDES military draft.

Unfortunately history shows us that setting a legal age for firearm ownership does not prevent underage individuals from illegally obtaining firearms; and furthermore, there are ignorant social justice Liberal pandering fools in the justice system that refuse to throw the damn book at those that violate firearm laws. Laws are only effective at curbing behaviors if they actually enforce them across the board!

          Root causes fattymoon, root causes!

          1. Upon finding the shooter’s surname didn’t fit the narrative, they scream: waaaaaah Waaaaaaaaaah WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Make that real REAL mean Inconvenient Truth go away…

            ‘Sides…HE’S_ORIGINALLY_FROM_NORTH_DAKOTA!!!

Mass shootings account for <1% of all gun deaths. Take out the suicides and which demographic represents OVER half the shooters and OVER half the victims?

            Root Causes? Anyone…Bueller…?

…and your comments don’t address the very pointed question I asked.

Is being anti all you have and no solutions to propose? Are you another rhetorical coward that’s not willing to stick your neck out and take a stand on what you think should be done as a solution?

      Come’on man, what’s the solution?

What would have stopped this school shooting?

      1. I got chores to do, so here’s a start and then I gotta go. Universal background checks. It probably wouldn’t have made a difference in this particular massacre, but it might have made a difference in the Buffalo shooting. Enjoy your day. Oh, btw, I have no hope about the future. Here’s why… my near death experience from 2011. I told my story at a story telling event earlier this year. Here it is… https://www.instagram.com/p/CYhg6N6Jwwm/

Federal law already requires all firearm dealers to be licensed and to initiate a background check before transferring a firearm to a non-dealer, regardless of where the transfer takes place. Background checks for firearms have been conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) since November 1998.

There is no way to enforce universal background checks if I were to choose to sell a personally owned non-NFA Tax Stamped firearm to you. Personally, if I choose to sell a personally owned firearm, I do it through a federally licensed FFL firearm dealer.

        2. First, enforce the laws already on the books. The background check system is riddled with flaws. Local police, the military, federal and state courts, hospitals, and treatment providers regularly fail to send criminal or mental health records to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System when they are supposed to. In theory, nobody who has been convicted of a crime, committed to a mental institution, gotten a dishonorable discharge or has a record of drug addiction should be able to buy a gun with ease. These failures mean background checks fail to stop someone who should be caught by the existing system. Additionally, we do nothing about the people who lie on background checks. There were 112,000 “lie-and-try” crimes in 2017. 12 of them were prosecuted. There is practically no chance tgat lying on a background check will cause you a problem, let alone prevent you from obtaining a gun.

  2. Comparing The Global Rate of MASS PUBLIC SHOOTINGS To The U.S.’s Rate And Comparing Their Changes Over Time John R. Lott

From the abstract: “Out of the 97 countries where we have identified mass public shootings occurring, the United States ranks 64th in the per capita frequency of these attacks and 65th in the murder rate.”

But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, that’s the bottom third, am I right? Yet despicable Lefty keeps telling us the U.S. Leads_The_League, don’t they?

To Ban Guns Because Criminals Use Them Is To Tell The Law Abiding That Their Rights And Liberties Depend Not On Their Own Conduct, But On The Conduct Of The Guilty And The Lawless.” — Lysander Spooner.

    This makes perfect sense….in LaLaLoopyLoonyLeftyLand!
