In the United States of America one of the core ethical beliefs that has helped the United States grow to a place of world prominence has been that when someone accuses someone of something it’s up to the accuser to support their accusation with evidence and facts, it’s not up to the accused to prove their innocence. Something terrible has happened to that ethical core belief over the last ten or twelve years. A huge cross section of our society has flushed that core belief down the toilet and what’s left floating in the bowl is the pungent stench of immoral vigilantism.
Is ignorance or societal brainwashing the cause of this shift?
In our “modern” 2020 United States of America society those publicly accused of heinous acts, such as racism, are dragged through the court of public opinion and deemed guilty as charged by a public horde of stupid people and not given any chance to correct any false perceptions. The guilty verdict from the court of public opinion is permanent and life changing regardless of facts. If by some miracle the accused can figure out how to prove a negative, that they are NOT a racist, and therefore prove their innocence it’s immediately rejected as lies and ignored by the emotionally charged vigilante social justice horde who’s hell bent on the destruction of their target. These people have bastardized one of the core societal beliefs so badly that when you bring up the fact that the accused is supposed to support their accusations, among the unethical rationalizing replies you get is “that’s only meant for a court of law” and they proceed to smear you for asking for proof and tell you that your inquiry is “insulting”.
Is this complete rejection of one of our core societal beliefs caused by ignorance, societal brainwashing or a combination of the two?
Lets take the current accusations we’re hearing from protesters that have exploded in the streets across the USA since the death of George Floyd while in Police custody in Minneapolis, MN. The accusations, as I’ve come to understand, are two fold;
JUSTICE SYSTEM
There is specific systemic anti-black racism intentionally built into our justice system that starts at policing across the United States that unfairly targets black people for arrest and paints black people as targets for police brutality including murder and this anti-black racism goes all the way up to the top levels of the justice system that unfairly convicts and incarnates black people that happen to survive the anti-black murder/arrest gauntlet.
SOCIETY
Systemic racism is perceived to be ingrained in ALL things in the United States because the outcomes of a lot of black people are not equivalent to the outcomes of a lot of white people; this is deemed a racist system of white privilege and it exists to oppress all black people.
My view of the accusations is simple; Correlation ≠ Causation!
Let me make this point very clear before I go on; I say that George Floyd’s death was very likely preventable had the police officers paid better attention to the person they had in custody. From the start I said that the officer on Floyd’s neck should be charged with 2nd degree murder and the other three officers should be charged as accomplices. I support protesters that are out in the streets in Minneapolis protesting to get justice for George Floyd but there’s a lot more happening across the USA than just that simple goal in Minneapolis. Maybe justice for Floyd was the starting point but the death of Floyd has been bastardized and turned into a catalyst and it’s clearly morphed well beyond justice for George Floyd.
The postesters should pay heed to The 12 Question Protest Ethics Checklist and the followup answers to those questions and more in Applying The Ethics Alarms 12 Question Protest Ethics Checklist To The George Floyd Freak-Out, And A Thirteenth Question.
As far as I can tell, the accusations drummed up by the social justice horde as a result of Floyd’s death are a complete fantasy, they’re extremely irresponsible and dangerous hyperbole that’s unsupportable with facts and their unethical rationalizations for violence is morally bankrupt. I have yet to see a shred of actual evidence to support that there is anti-black systemic racism in the police forces across the United States or that systemic anti-black racism is ongoing in our society as a whole. Not seeing any evidence to support the claims is not due to a lack of trying, I’ve asked blacks, whites, social justice warriors, Liberals, Conservatives, progressives, etc, etc and no one seems to be able to provide any evidence just outright false statements, insinuations, correlation equals causation “arguments” and then they attack the person for asking the questions. The lack of genuine factual evidence to support the accusations raises a very serious question;
How did so many people in the population come to believe that the accusations are absolute fact when the only “evidence” to support them are correlation equals causation arguments?
The only answer I can come up with to answer that question is either there is wide spread ignorance or brainwashing courtesy of 21st divisional “progressive” politics.
Hanlon’s Razor: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
If I apply that saying then I should be attributing all this to ignorance but I simply don’t believe that Halon’s Razor applies in this case because the evidence points in a different direction. I do believe that stupidity is playing a big part but that part is only that the stupid and gullible are the ones specifically being targeted by the brainwashing tactics. Progressives’ are taking advantage of the stupidity and gullibility in their tactical arm of the far left aka social justice warriors so they target them with their brainwashing and then inspire them, and in some cases publicly fund them, to spread their divisive brainwashing across the United States. Divisional groups like Black Lives Matter, whose very existence is based on the false narrative of “state-sanctioned violence and anti-Black racism“, exhibit the typical irrational thinking used by social justice warriors across the board when it comes to black/white race relations. It appears that in the minds of social justice warriors if anything negative happens to a black person that’s caused by a non-black person it’s immediately deemed racism even when racism is not clearly evident, these are immoral claims of racism.
These gullible social justice warriors are blindly believing the accusations above with their whole body and soul regardless of real truth, real logic, real justice, real facts, real common sense and real critical thinking which appear to have all been buried in the quaint anecdotes of history; now these anecdotes are in direct conflict with the new social order that’s trying to lead us towards a chaotic society of public vigilantism. Brainwashing a huge swath of the population that has been dumbed down has taken a good ten to twelve years of constant drum-beating and these brainwashed social justice warriors are now intimidating their way into positions of power. I’ve written about the downward spiraling social trends over the last year here, here, here and here. Progressives are not being “progressive” and leading society towards a more intellectually critically thinking society they are being regressive and leading us towards a society full of emotional troglodytes being led by “progressive” totalitarians.
Now let’s shift to why I think what we’re seeing is brainwashing as I mentioned above. I’ll return after I present some relevant information I found.

In a study of former prisoners of Korean War and Chinese war camps the psychologist Robert Jay Lifton made some observations about brainwashing. Here is an article that has his findings, How Brainwashing Works. Here is some information contained in the article:
Steps Involved in Brainwashing
1. Assault on identity
2. Guilt
3. Self-betrayal
4 Breaking point
5. Leniency
6. Compulsion to confess
7. Channeling of guilt
8. Releasing of guilt
9. Progress and harmony
10. Final confession and rebirth.
Lifton divided those steps into three stages: breaking down the self, introducing the possibility of salvation, and rebuilding the self.
Breaking Down the Self
Assault on Identity
You are not who you think you are. This is a systematic attack on a target’s sense of self (also called his identity or ego) and his core belief system. The agent denies everything that makes the target who he is: “You are not a soldier.” “You are not a man.” “You are not defending freedom.” The target is under constant attack for days, weeks or months, to the point that he becomes exhausted, confused and disoriented. In this state, his beliefs seem less solid.
Guilt
You are bad. While the identity crisis is setting in, the agent is simultaneously creating an overwhelming sense of guilt in the target. He repeatedly and mercilessly attacks the subject for any “sin” the target has committed, large or small. He may criticize the target for everything from the “evilness” of his beliefs to the way he eats too slowly. The target begins to feel a general sense of shame, that everything he does is wrong.
Self-Betrayal
Agree with me that you are bad. Once the subject is disoriented and drowning in guilt, the agent forces him (either with the threat of physical harm or of continuance of the mental attack) to denounce his family, friends and peers who share the same “wrong” belief system that he holds. This betrayal of his own beliefs and of people he feels a sense of loyalty to increases the shame and loss of identity the target is already experiencing.
Breaking Point
Who am I, where am I and what am I supposed to do? With his identity in crisis, experiencing deep shame and having betrayed what he has always believed in, the target may undergo what in the lay community is referred to as a “nervous breakdown.” In psychology, “nervous breakdown” is really just a collection of severe symptoms that can indicate any number of psychological disturbances. It may involve uncontrollable sobbing, deep depression and general disorientation. The target may have lost his grip on reality and have the feeling of being completely lost and alone. When the target reaches his breaking point, his sense of self is pretty much up for grabs — he has no clear understanding of who he is or what is happening to him. At this point, the agent sets up the temptation to convert to another belief system that will save the target from his misery.
The Possibility of Salvation
Leniency
I can help you. With the target in a state of crisis, the agent offers some small kindness or reprieve from the abuse. He may offer the target a drink of water, or take a moment to ask the target what he misses about home. In a state of breakdown resulting from an endless psychological attack, the small kindness seems huge, and the target may experience a sense of relief and gratitude completely out of proportion to the offering, as if the agent has saved his life.
Compulsion to Confession
You can help yourself. For the first time in the brainwashing process, the target is faced with the contrast between the guilt and pain of identity assault and the sudden relief of leniency. The target may feel a desire to reciprocate the kindness offered to him, and at this point, the agent may present the possibility of confession as a means to relieving guilt and pain.
Channeling of Guilt
This is why you’re in pain. After weeks or months of assault, confusion, breakdown and moments of leniency, the target’s guilt has lost all meaning — he’s not sure what he has done wrong, he just knows he is wrong. This creates something of a blank slate that lets the agent fill in the blanks: He can attach that guilt, that sense of “wrongness,” to whatever he wants. The agent attaches the target’s guilt to the belief system the agent is trying to replace. The target comes to believe it is his belief system that is the cause of his shame. The contrast between old and new has been established: The old belief system is associated with psychological (and usually physical) agony; and the new belief system is associated with the possibility of escaping that agony.
Releasing of Guilt
It’s not me; it’s my beliefs. The embattled target is relieved to learn there is an external cause of his wrongness, that it is not he himself that is inescapably bad — this means he can escape his wrongness by escaping the wrong belief system. All he has to do is denounce the people and institutions associated with that belief system, and he won’t be in pain anymore. The target has the power to release himself from wrongness by confessing to acts associated with his old belief system. With his full confessions, the target has completed his psychological rejection of his former identity. It is now up to the agent to offer the target a new one.
Rebuilding the Self
Progress and Harmony
If you want, you can choose good. The agent introduces a new belief system as the path to “good.” At this stage, the agent stops the abuse, offering the target physical comfort and mental calm in conjunction with the new belief system. The target is made to feel that it is he who must choose between old and new, giving the target the sense that his fate is in his own hands. The target has already denounced his old belief system in response to leniency and torment, and making a “conscious choice” in favor of the contrasting belief system helps to further relieve his guilt: If he truly believes, then he really didn’t betray anyone. The choice is not a difficult one: The new identity is safe and desirable because it is nothing like the one that led to his breakdown.
Final Confession and Rebirth
I choose good. Contrasting the agony of the old with the peacefulness of the new, the target chooses the new identity, clinging to it like a life preserver. He rejects his old belief system and pledges allegiance to the new one that is going to make his life better. At this final stage, there are often rituals or ceremonies to induct the converted target into his new community. This stage has been described by some brainwashing victims as a feeling of “rebirth.”
*****
That is the relevant information that I found on brainwashing.
As far as I can tell, brainwashing is exactly what has taken place and is currently taking place to a large swath of our population, it’s as if the social justice warriors have all joined an extremist cult and have undergone years of brainwashing. These people are happily leaping from the freedoms we’ve enjoyed for many years in the United States into the fire pits of pure totalitarianism and they’re using some of the same tactics as past totalitarians. Some examples of well known totalitarians that “inspired” massive social and government changes are:
- Joseph Stalin, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union
- Adolf Hitler, former Führer of Germany
- Mao Zedong, former Chairman of the Communist Party of China
- Benito Mussolini, former Duce of Italy
- Kim Il-sung, the Eternal President of North Korea
Wake up people; the Constitution of the United States of America is actively being bastardized and stripped of its power by progressives and their political arm of brainwashed social justice warriors. What makes the United States of America the United States of America is actively being demonized and sent to the burning fires of hell. These people hate the United States of America and all it stands for. I can only guess that their end goal is to completely dissolve the United States and install a totalitarian government.
Talking with a friend of mine that I’ve known since 1990 who happens to be black, he recently said some things that I firmly believe he never would have stated back in 1990 but something in him has changed; he’s been consumed by the rhetoric and he’s not my only friend that’s been consumed over the last few years. When we recently were talking about the claims of systemic racism he told me something to the effect of “I can’t know about being oppressed because I haven’t lived it” and the only reason I can’t know is simply because the color of my skin; yes that’s being prejudiced. The next logical step was for me was to honestly and respectfully ask my friend to present the facts and evidence to support the systemic racism accusations so I too could understand, the reply I got back was literally “asking an oppressed people to prove their oppression to you is insulting” and shortly thereafter he completely cut off communications with me; this is how ignorant brainwashed people that cannot support their arguments and accusations argue and react. Some whom I’ve asked questions immediately attack the messenger and start calling me a racist for simply asking them to support their accusations; have these people all become morons? Is there something in the water? No, they were, and still are, intelligent people; the only rational explanation I can find that explains their dramatic intellectual shift is they’ve been systematically brainwashed over the last ten to twelve years.
These brainwashed people are rapidly becoming the equivalent to the totalitarian fascists that took over Germany in the early 20th century, their unsupportable open condemnation of an entire race of people is sounding very similar. Fact is that they believe their accusations with their whole body but they cannot communicate their overwhelming feelings because those feelings are not fact based so supporting the accusations is impossible, this causes cognitive dissonance within the psyche and they don’t know how to face it so they irrationally lash out at those that disagree with them and then ideologically isolate themselves in an ideological bubble free from challenges to their brainwashed programming.
The United States of America is slowly morphing into a totalitarian state with stupid people holding the reigns.
If you don’t want to live under rules created by stupid people then you need to set aside your apathy for society and politics, stand up for intelligent truths and do something about what’s happening!
Think I’m reaching? Watch this film from 1981 and look for the eye opening parallels to what’s happening in our society today.
